Wearcene Privacy Policy

Wearcene is a wardrobe app. Your closet, outfit plans and daily recommendations are computed and stored on your device. We do not run user accounts, ads, or analytics trackers.

Photos you choose

Two features send photos off your device, and only when you use them:

• Clothes detection. When cloud detection is on (you can turn it off in the import screen's fine print), photos you pick are sent over an encrypted connection through our server to an AI provider (Google Gemini, with an OpenAI fallback) to find the clothing items in them. Photos are processed and not retained by our server; providers process them per their API data policies.
• Try-on previews. When you ask to see a look on you, your reference photo and the garment images are sent through our server to the FASHN try-on service to render the preview. Results are stored only on your device.

Subscriptions

Try-on previews use a paid subscription handled entirely by Apple. To enforce fair usage we keep a minimal ledger: an anonymous device identifier or your App Store transaction identifier, with a count of previews used. This cannot be used to identify you and is never sold or shared.

Weather

Daily recommendations fetch a public weather forecast for the city name you enter. No personal data is sent.

Deleting your data

Use "Delete all local data" in the You tab to remove everything stored on your device. The server-side usage ledger contains no photos and no personal information.
